Mariel Kenderi is a researcher in African Affairs with interests in diplomacy, national security, foreign policy, environment, and crisis response. She has worked on conflict research and humanitarian/disaster-risk programming, and holds a BA in International Relations (University of Nairobi) while pursuing an MA in Crisis Response & Disaster Management (National Defence University–Kenya).
